Sunrise Rose metal print by Sandy Haight. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.
The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.
Metal prints are extremely durable. They're lightweight. They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

Title: Sunrise Rose
This painting is appears to be an abstraction but its a photorealistic watercolor of a yellow rose viewed so close up that it becomes a sky at sunrise, or a bright tree fungus or maybe the peel of an orange fluttering your way. The image was captured at Butchart Gardens near Victoria, BC which his flower porn for plant lovers! More vivid blooms you can imagine confront you at every turn all healthy and in harmonious beds with other flowers.
I'm honored that Sunrise Rose was selected to be part of a large regional juried show at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art in the summer of 2023! Sunrise Rose was previously juried into the Northwest Watercolor Society show for the spring of 2021! NWWS.org. The painting is pure transparent watercolor on a full sheet of 300# Arches Cold Press paper. The image goes right through to the ragged deckle edges of the paper. Watercolor is my medium. I zoom in and compose from my photos to fill a picture plane with a compelling design that takes the viewer into an abstract and sensual world. I look for beautiful transitions of color or textures that could be expressed luminously with my many glazes of watercolor, or that might provide an opportunity for me to try new painting techniques.
